Boreal Wellness Centres focuses on helping individuals improve their functionality and quality of life, through the development of new skills and perspectives. Our client-centric clinical approach begins by identifying personal recovery goals. We assist the client in this process, developing an individualized recovery plan that includes extensive psychotherapy, sleep hygiene, mindfulness/meditation, fitness, nutrition, readiness for employment and cultivation of healthy relationships with family and friends.

Our mood and anxiety disorder programming uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:
  • cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT)
  • acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
  • dialectical behaviour therapy skills (DBT)
  • mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) & mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)
