When it comes to expertise in working with public safety personnel, approximately half of our clinical team have occupational awareness training and experience. This makes Boreal Wellness Centres one of Canada's largest occupationally aware clinical practices.

Dr. Alana Cook
In my clinical work, I provide therapy and assessment across a wide-range of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and substance use disorders. I also work with people experiencing psychotic and bipolar disorders and problematic personality traits. I have a particular interest working with people struggling with interpersonal or workplace conflict.
Dr. Holly Parkerson
Psychologist (on maternity leave)
I am a registered clinical psychologist providing psychological treatment to adult clients with a diverse range of mental health concerns including PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders, as well as difficulties adjusting to chronic health problems.
Dr. Lindsey Thomas
Psychologist / Clinical Director
Over the years I have treated and assessed with compassion a wide range of difficulties in adults, including a variety of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, psychosis, substance misuse and problematic sexual behaviours and interests.
Dr. Daryl Ternowski
I have over 15 years of experience in various settings, including inpatient hospital treatment programs and outpatient treatment settings. I treats adults with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties.
Dr. Marilyn Kwong
For almost 14 years, I have helped people overcome their suffering and pursue a better life. Some experienced a devastating accident or event, others were struggling with a mental health or medical issue. My assessment work focuses on psychovocational assessments to help people better understand their strengths and challenges.

Therapist (Psy.D. Student in Clinical Psychology)
I am a third year Doctor of Clinical Psychology student at Adler University. Both my clinical training and work experience included working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use, and schizophrenia-spectrum disorders.
Therapist (Ph.D. Candidate in Clinical Psychology)
I am a senior Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at Simon Fraser University, and I have experience providing psychotherapy and skills coaching to individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties.
